We have provided technical seminars and presentations at trade shows and conferences throughout the country on woodworking dust collection, solid surface dust control, and
combustible dust.
Jamison Scott, Corporate Officer of Air Handling Systems has done extensive research on the
Combustible Dust issue, Jamison has provided technical support and written articles on Combustible Dust for various trade publications, including
Wood & Wood Products,
CWB,
FDM/Cabinetmaker, and Inside OSHA. Most recently he presented a series of technical seminars on
Combustible Dust at various events throughout the country, in addition he participated in the Combustible Dust Stakeholder Meeting hosted by OSHA.
Jamison serves as Chairman of Business Development Committee and Industrial Dust Task Force, as well as on the Board of Directors of the
WMMA, Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America. Jamison also chairs various committees and serves on the Board of the
NHMA, New Haven Manufactures Associations, whereas he represents the interests of manufacturers and small business. Jamison has been invited to speak at many events throughout Connecticut including providing testimony on the importance of manufacturing to state legislators in Hartford.
Curt Corum, our Sales Manager has been recognized as an industry leader in the field of dust and fume collection. Sandor Nagyszalanczy, author of
Woodshop Dust Control, thanked Curt for "kind and tireless help in educating him about the technical aspects of dust collection systems." Additionally, Rick Peters, author of
Controlling Dust in the Workshop expressed gratitude to Curt for providing product and technical support and "especially for helping with the designing systems chapter." Curt served as technical advisor for the installation of dust collection systems for both
The New Yankee Workshop television show hosted by Norm Abram, and
This Old House television show. Curt also serves as a technical moderator for an online forum on Dust Collection, Plant Maintenance and Safety for
the Woodweb, an online source for woodworkers.
